North Lancing Primary School

“Enjoying Achieving”

We are committed to providing a welcoming, happy, safe and stimulating environment for children to learn; an environment in which everyone is valued, and all achievements are celebrated. We believe a happy child is a successful one. We intend that all children should enjoy their learning, achieve their potential and become independent, life-long learners.

We aim to encourage each child to practice the five core values of our school: Independence, collaboration, resilience and perseverance whilst developing the fifth core value, their own unique ‘individuality.’ Our curriculum promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils in preparation for the opportunities and experiences of adult life.

All children learn through an exciting curriculum with a focus on first hand learning experiences.  This covers all of the National Curriculum subjects and is delivered by our teachers in a way that seeks to inspire children as confident and independent learners.

We start in our Early Years classes where children learn in a lively and stimulating environment to become learners and enjoy education. The children’s experience of learning continues throughout the school where they are challenged and supported to achieve highly using all their talents.

Our wider school community is valuable to us and everyone in it plays an important part in the education of our pupils. Working together we ensure that every child gets the best possible start in life.

We think North Lancing Primary is a fantastic place to learn. We know your child will be happy and successful on their learning journey with us and we look forward to welcoming them to our school.
